I believe in God the creator of heaven and earth. I believe in love. I believe that affirmation can have positive impacts on our lives. I love the fact that to believe is to accept that something is true, especially without proof. To me personally, to believe is to live and to hope for a brighter future. I remember humming along or sometimes shouting out the words of songs that excites and injects hope and trust for our future.
This brings to mind the lyrics of the Greatest Love Of All a song originally by George Benson. I only came to know this song when Whitney Houston covered it (part of verse1):
“I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be”
These lyrics strengthens my belief of a better future. We can make a positive difference by leading by example, helping to create a brighter future generation.
Other lyrics, also taken from a Whitney Houston song: I Believe In You And Me
“I believe in you and me
I believe that we will be
In love eternally”
I feel uplifted by the good others do and I will continue to believe in the good of others. I will continue to believe in love!
Then there’s also the lyrics of a song sung by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey: When You Believe
“There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It’s hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe somehow you will
You will when you believe”
These words brings excitement, it encourages me to continue hoping for a better tomorrow!
As a BTS ARMY mom I love the fact that they inspire their ARMY (fans) to reach their potential and therefore I thought it’s appropriate to end with a BTS “Anpanman” quote:
“Although I’ll fall again, I’ll make a mistake again, and I’ll be covered in mud, I believe in myself because I’m a hero.”
I am sure you can all think of a quote or lyrics sung by your favourite artist that contain the words “I believe” I would like to know what you believe.

Wow. I have lost hope, believing in nothing during the last month. But this post, especially, the above quote had reminded me to believe in myself and have hope towards future.
Kudos to a great post. Keep writing and keep inspiring.

I love your blog immensely. Everything you write has a deeper, profound meaning.
As I am involved for a long time with disadvantaged children my mantra always was:
Children belong to all of us if we don’t help those in need, who will?
Thank you.

Great article.
I think that a song with uplifting music and positive lyrics could change our mood just after listening to them. Keep on listeng to it in a loop for certain number of times and I would be so pumped to whatever I was teyi g harder to do earlier.
Reading this article reminded me of Believer by Imaginary Dragons. It was great and uplifting.
Keep writing.
