As we approached the end of the year, it’s really a good time to reflect. I decided to reflect by looking at my 22 blogs posted previously.
Blog 1: Sanity During Lockdown – Sanity prevails and I continue to love myself in order to provide myself the opportunity to move through this time with deeper compassion for others.
Blog 2: You’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t! – We cannot escape the consequences of our decisions in whatever we do.
Blog 3: The show must go on! – I have to keep on pushing forward. The show must go on!

Blog 5: For the Love of the Arts – This blog brought attention to the challenges facing live events, music and performing art sectors.
Blog 6: Let’s create our own rhythm – For me it was important to allow life to gradually return to normal and to start creating my own rhythm, even if it was different than before.
Blog 7: The Story of Hansel and Gretel living with Covid-19 – I shared a personal story from someone that contracted the virus. This virus is real!
Blog 8: On a Lighter Note – I believe that humour can help us cope and can bring about clarity and calmness. We as a family often, through laughter, somehow see things on a lighter note that helps us get through life events.
Blog 9: Positive… – Follows on explaining how we can make sense of our world by living our lives to the best of our ability. I hope I can continue writing positive narratives that will help me focus on the good in any given situation.
Blog 10: Corona Stop – This was an article I shared written by Professor Theo van Wyk. It was interesting and wonderfully insightful.
Blog 11: You May Be as Different as the Sun and the Moon – I hope to remain open-minded, to respect and accommodate others for who they are. Between our differences and similarities lies an individual.
Blog 12: Health Matters Matter – In this blog I shared someone’s personal health journey. It is always good to take care of our health.
Blog13: Voices from the Margins – I wish that we all stop with the stigmatisation just because they are different from us and have their own beliefs.
Blog 14: Lessons Learned – A lesson in care and consideration and a reminder that it’s never an inconvenience to care and be kind.
Blog 15: Blessed, Peaceful and Content – I also experienced anxiety and fear in this time, but to feel peaceful and content nurtures and nourishes my soul in a very satisfying way and it gives me a sense of peace.
Blog 16: I Believe… – To believe brings contentment and excitement, it encourages me to continue hoping for a better tomorrow!
Blog 17: What’s in a name…I say – How do you identify in this time or how do you prefer to identify to life?
Blog 18: The Mind and Possibilities – I must remind myself that an open mind produces positivity and generates plans with so many possibilities.
Blog 19: You Choose – ‘What do you choose?’ I hope to choose faith over fear consistently.
Blog 20: What Would Love Do? – I love this question and it’s a question to consider every time before I act or make decisions.
Blog 21: Persistence – I want to aspire to be more persistent, but always to be persistent in a positive way.
Blog 22: Is it my season to bloom? – Another pivotal question for me to consider in order to strive to be a better person.
