Life is a Journey

Life is a journey, isn’t it? Some of us have chosen the road less travelled, others are approaching life like they plunging into oncoming traffic! We desire to live opulently, some may already live this way. For many it’s a longing that seems out of reach and it might feel as if there’s an influx of travellers blocking their way. Along life’s path there’s also interruptions as obstacles are placed along the way, some expected and so many unexpected.

For many right now life’s journey is filled with uphill battles and we are driven by the pursuit of relevance and survival. The virus made life’s journey feel like a train derailed, a car crash, sinking ship, airplane crash and or as if it all came crashing at once. You might feel immobilised, but don’t allow the pandemic to permanently paralyse you. Re-scope, do the  repair work in order to survive this pandemic crash. On the road to recovery, we need to navigate through these difficult times, but like many things in life we won’t put it into practice until we understand why it’s important.

It is important to embark on a journey of personal well-being which is crucial for your psychological and personal journey. Use healing-informed tools, increase access to self-care and practice mindfulness. Let’s open our eyes of understanding in a fresh way which can provide a deeper dimension to your journey.

The Ox year of 2021 is under the influence of the metal element. This year predicts hard work, positivity and honesty. Don’t allow anxiety or negative thinking to affect you. Let’s strive to travel in grandeur as we journey ahead.

Allow me to share this poem describing life’s journey:

Life is a Journey

Along the way

It’s sunny, it rains

It even storms

Journey all the way

Along the way

You’re enjoying the ride

And you shout out, wow!

You’re happy all the way

Along the way

You feel this can’t be

As you surrounded by dismay

Journey any way

Along the way

You approach the ordinary things

And find it not so ordinary

When it’s taken away!

Along the way

You learn or choose not to

You live to experience

It’s your life anyway

I believe in God, love and life! Married to my friend, mentor and rock. We have been blessed with two beautiful girls. My personal journey provides opportunities for me to empower individuals to lead better lives. I have had a real desire to work with people for a long time and have always been fascinated with human behaviour and understanding how the mind works.
I love the following quote by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. “Remember that children, marriages and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get”

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and lovely poem!.. “The only thing that stands between you and your dream is the will to try and the belief that it is actually possible.” – (Joel Brown)… 🙂

Until we meet again..
May the sun shine all day long
Everything go right, nothing go wrong
May those you love bring love back to you
And may all the wishes you wish come true

Thank you for your very positive message.
I was thinking to myself recently and I was saying to my husband “you see we are solid, this pandemic story does not shake our mind, we have the chance to cope and keep a good inner balance.”
Business is calmer, but that’s okay.
You have to wait for it to pass, and be content to be satisfied and cherish your balance.
Around me, I count four couples of friends who have separated since the covid …
My father sank into a huge depression, with several visits to a psychiatric clinic …
Lots of mental disorders, a lot of fear for the future.
While as you say this trip certainly involves some disruptions, but we know that there is sometimes turbulence.
Life is “impermanence” and we forget it too often. In French we say “life is not a long quiet river” no offense to the covid, which has just invited and that we will end up dominating.
Have a good day

I’m sorry to hear about your father’s mental health, I wish him all the best on his journey ahead and may he find himself surrounded by the love and support of family and friends. All the best to you in helping him on this journey. Take care and lots of well wishes coming your way💕🌸
