21 Days of Investing in Yourself

The end of the year is drawing closer and I’m looking forward to the holiday season, a time to celebrate and a time to rest. To me the holidays are all about celebrating the values that bring us together in life, such as our friends and family. At this time of the year, it is also necessary to recharge and to invest in yourself. I was so happy for the encouragement and the reminder in the message below reflecting 21 Days of Investing in Yourself.” I do some of the things mentioned below, but I also know that I can do so much more. I’m sharing, hoping that we will all take up the challenge to be kind to ourselves. In this way we have much more to give to others and we can make these important connections that can bring us unity through generosity, and gratitude.

Persistence

When describing myself the thought of ‘persistence’ comes to mind. Sometimes I’m patient, I can continue with tasks at hand and I love how words like tenacious, persevering, continuing, constant, patient, diligent are all similar to the word persistence. So, I want to aspire to be more persistent, but always to be persistent in a positive way.

I have been writing blogs, persistently over five months and hope that through my persistence in writing that I have brought some inspiration, even if it is only to some. I am aware that writing these blogs persistently could be annoying to some people (hopefully not) but I comfort myself that there is a choice and one can choose not to read my blogs. To be persistent in finding fault, to nag and just being negative all the time is definitely not what I want to aspire to. I do want to be positively persistent in aspiring to inspire.

Imagine a world where everyone is persistent in showing gratitude every day. This made me realise that I can start with myself if I want to see ‘persistence in gratitude’ in this world. I can start by being persistent in showing gratitude every day. I hope by being persistent in showing gratitude that I’ll be able to connect with my inner wisdom that can but only help me to live a more fulfilling life.
I understand that life happens, but being able to stick to practicing gratitude especially during these challenging times is positive persistence personified. Blessed are those who persistently find gratitude in everyday life!

I am thankful that I’m still able to persistently write these blogs and I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all for reading my posts and for your considered comments.
